PAKO Announces A Compact, Economic Embedded Controller - AEC-6611- [ September 3 2010 ]

The AEC-6611 features the Intel® Atom™ N270 processor, a DDR2 SODIMM system memory (up to 4GB), and deploys two Gigabit Ethernets for faster network connections.  This last function allows the AEC-6611 to communicate with diverse devices at a high transfer rate.   In addition, this model is equipped with one Mini-PCI and one Mini Card for expansion flexibility.  The AEC-6611 supports rich I/O interfaces, such as four COM ports and four USB ports.  You may also have an optional eight COM ports and two USB 2.0 ports as an alternative on the expansion I/O ports based on the system requirements.

This compact embedded controller is perfect for space limited applications.  The AEC-6611 has ample storage, which features a 2.5" SATA Hard Disk Drive bay and a CompactFlash™ Slot.  This unit has a fanless cooling system that is ideal for harsh transportation applications.  The system operating in the unit will not be interrupted because of fan failure or damage.  The heat spreading design/chassis is a patented technology and is one of the key features that enable the unit to operate in such severe environments. The power input features ATX/ACPI power modes to support Hyper Threading requirements for full computing ability. This is another key feature for vertical market implementation.
