These products include signal conditioning, analog and digital I/O, RS-232/422/485 serial communications, isolated input / relay output, and watchdog timer cards, which feature specific, practical functionality. We are committed to providing long-term availability of our products. All products also ship with a complete software CD providing drivers, source code, setup programs, and samples. Most popular operating systems are supported including Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/7, Linux (including Mac OS X), and DOS. Third party support includes a Windows standard DLL interface usable from the most popular application programs, and includes LabVIEW VIs. Embedded OS support includes Windows XPe. By designing application-specific products with selectable features and minimal jumper settings, users are able to obtain full functionality without additional cost.
Analog Output boards are useful when you need an output where the condition is not just an on or off state. Analog Output boards convert digital values generated by software into the analog voltage or current signals required for controlling frequency inverters, valves, sliders, brightness of lights, or things controlled by motors and other mechnical transducers.

Wireless I/O enables you to monitor, acquire and process data from remote sensors, or control analog or digital outputs, all this over a wireless serial communications link. With just a single serial port on your PC, you can control up to 255 of our Wireless I/O Pods. Imagine a Wireless DAQ system that costs less to install, own and maintain than hard-wired DAQ. Eliminate costly cable repairs. Less time and money is spent when setups are reconfigured or expanded.
Our Wireless I/O products are perfect for remote installations in harsh atmospheric, industrial or marine applications. These units offer a low-cost alternative to costly signal wire installations in applications such as agricultural and irrigations systems, building management and control, security and factory automation.

Wireless Serial Modem |
Wireless modem radio transceivers for use with our wireless DAQ products. Connects to any serial port. |
Analog input boards are useful for measuring variably changing conditions in the real world. When we want to measure these variably changing conditions, we need analog inputs to convert these changing real world conditions to changing electrical quantities. For example, monitoring the temperature inside a wood kiln, or the water pressure on the output of a pump, or the heart rate of a medical patient. In each of these cases, you can use one of our analog input devices to convert the electrical data from a sensor or transducer into binary data that can then be used by your computer. The device that converts this data is known as an analog to digital converter (abbreviated ADC, A/D, or A to D). An analog input is a measurable electrical signal with a defined range. The analog input changes continuously in a definable manner in relation to the measured property. This data is very useful for process monitoring, process control, or simple monitoring / data collection and acquisition. ACCES' analog input boards amplify and multiplex input signals from thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers, photo sensors, flowmeters, RTDs, thermistors, voltage sources, millivolt sources, and current sources etc.

ETX was created to bridge the gap between custom and COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) embedded OEM solutions. Customer hardware applications and required computer peripheral I/O are combined on the same PCB baseboard or carrier. The ever changing CPU market can be made more economical by using mass produced ETX CPU modules implemented into multiple customers I/O PCB baseboards. The customer can then focus on his application rather than whether the next motherboard will work with his I/O. With I/O connections constant, system packaging simplified, and cabling eliminated, the system-level cost is greatly reduced. A diverse multi-vendor market of standardized ETX CPU modules reduces obsolescence and allows easy upgrade of processing capability. The semi-custom ETX market where the baseboard is customized and the ETX CPU is COTS excels between the world of Custom and COTS.

In many cases, we only need to know a simple status about the device we are trying to collect data from, whether something is true or false, on or off, in one position or another. In these cases, we can determine what we need to know using a digital input, or control these things by a digital output. Digital I/O can fit into many applications. Anywhere your application requires something switched from one state to another, or a two-position contact monitor. Such applications include handshaking, pattern input and output, and change of state detection.

Many types of external computer equipment have a serial ports to communicate with host PCs. ACCES I/O has Communication Cards for all of the popular protocols you may find on this type of equipment (RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485), ranging from a single port to eight ports on a single card. There are also optically isolated versions of some of these cards to ensure effective data transmission on long communication lines, even in electrically noisy environments. Having optical isolation is like having data insurance.

Sometimes your sensors or the piece of equipment you are trying to control is not in a convenient place to have a PC close by. The sensors may be widely distributed through out your plant and it just wouldn't be cost effective to run all your wiring to where the PC is. In addition, low level signals are more accurately acquired when digitized close to the signal source. In all these cases our REMOTE ACCES line of products will help. The REMOTE ACCES pods are intelligent, sensor to computer interfaces. Each pod can be used as an autonomous data logger to acquire data for later download. Or as many as 31 pods may be connected on a single two wire multidrop RS-485 network allowing a cable distance of up to 4000 ft. You can also go wireless and extend your range by adding RS-485 wireless transceivers to your serial port. Each unit comes in a rugged NEMA 4 enclosure and can withstand harsh industrial and marine environments.
