The Integration
Pako has fully equipped, ultra modern integration ISO 9001 – 2000 Certified Laboratory facility to integrate almost all the products it ships. The state of the art equipment, the fully trained technicians, and the perfectly knowledgeable sales force ensures that every product shipped, every system transported to the customer shall provide a totally trouble free operation irrespective of the complexities involved ( potential component incompatibilities, drive and raid issues, cooling and power requirements, operating system subtleties etc. ). Thousands of such integrated systems have been Pako’s tremendous man - hours’ experience. This experienced team goes about the integration of the well planned system based on the requirement survey and a disciplined work order system and the component placement is done through a system definition folder. All the requirements are neatly thought of and properly provided with. The completed system is then equipped with the necessary drivers along with the updates..
System Definition
Our experienced Sales Engineers work closely with the customer to help define the desired system based on required functionality, cost, form factor, and performance. An intimate knowledge of the industrial computer market allows the Sales Engineering Team to narrow down the product selection to a system definition that will work and exactly meet customer expectations.
Component Selection
PAKO offers a wide variety of proprietary products but we don't claim to have 100% product saturation. The Sales Engineer knows what products are available from what sources, what works with what, and what products are supported by the required operating system. The final system definition will then comprise an optimal mix of PAKO products with other manufacturer's third party components. Considering all these various factors a blue print of the solution is prepared and a package comprising Pako products plus outsourced compatible components will be supplied to the concerned customer.
Customizing needs of Today and Tomorrow
Often customer requirements cannot be met by an off-the-shelf product. PAKO has extensive experience in Custom Product Design and integration for a wide variety of industrial and rack mount products including: rack mount chassis, LCD displays and keyboards, single board computers, backplanes, analog and digital I/O cards.
Procurement and Stocking - PAKO will source, purchase, receive, inspect, and stock required third party components. In addition, we can receive and segregate customer supplied material.
Integration Documentation
The hallmark of a professional integration department is shipment-to-shipment consistency. PAKO utilizes extensive system integration documentation to assure the 500th system is exactly identical to the first. There is no 'tribal knowledge' involved in how a system is put together and it does not matter which Integration Technician is assigned to any particular project. The documentation includes text and photographic instructions, component placement, wiring, component issues, software issues and BIOS details that enable any technician to take over integration work from any of his predecessors at any moment of time and yet complete the assignment without a pin being misplaced.
System Test
Each system is burned in and tested using PC Doctor Factory test software for 48 hours to assure full system functionality. Board specific test software is used as required. Test results along with serial numbers are recorded and documented for full traceability. Extended burn-in is available per customer specification. Thermal cycling and extended high temperature burn-in is available as required for specific high-rel military contracts. Additional testing including mil spec, shock and vibration, heat, cold, humidity, dust, etc., is available on request.
Shipping
The order is checked for completeness and packaged in high quality boxes with product specific foam for protection. As required or justified, shipments can be palletized for additional protection. We can use any shipping carrier or freight service as specified by the customer.
Agency Certifications
As per required, PAKO can provide complete system certification services for national and international emissions, safety standards, shock, and vibration.
